Proud to be an American. It's a sentiment that has swept the nation since Tuesday's terrorist attacks. In Seattle, the tragedy has brought out the red, white and blue in neighborhoods all over town. It's not just happening here — sales of American flags at national Wal-Mart stores were up tenfold this week. And a nationwide e-mail campaign has promoted today as "Flags Across America" day, asking all Americans to show the flag. We visited local homes displaying flags to find out why:
