Boys begin working to help their families when they are as young as 6 and 7 in rural Mexico, milking cows, herding goats, shining shoes, shelling beans, gathering onions. Many Mexican farmworkers believe children belong in the fields with their parents because it's healthy and teaches them how to work. These boys are bagging onions.
