If you want a break from the action, take in the panoramic views of Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains and the Space Needle on the upper west concourse. |

Best views
Five points in the stadium that offer best views of the city or the game.
Best place for kids
Well, this place isn't like Safeco aside from the action on the field, there's not much to keep to the little ones entertained. Related story
Best place for tailgating
The adjoining exhibition center is tailor-made for pre- and postgame festivities. Related story
Best buy for food
You already know this anywhere outside the stadium. From the street hawkers selling warm kettle corn (ummmm....) to the wonderful restaurants of the International District, you'll get better value and tastier niblets outside the park.
Best place to hoot and holler like a madman
No doubt the Hawks Nest at the north end of the stadium. Even when the stadium's empty, this section just sort of seethes with the aura of jersey-wearing, beer-swilling, cheer-yelling fans.
Best erudite place for pre-func
Elliot Bay Book Co. Read the morning paper in the cafe in the basement. They even serve beer! Cafe Web site
Best way to get to the game
Duh! Ride the bus! The International District Metro station is a convenient short walk from the stadium. Parking & transportation info.
