Julius Rosenberg Ethel Rosenberg
March 29, 1951. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are convicted of espionage in a chain leading back to Klaus Fuchs, physicist on the WWII Manhattan Project to create the first atomic bomb. The Rosenbergs are electrocuted June 19, 1953.
