Washington’s Allison Northey gets ready for NCAA gymnastics
Senior will compete in all-around in meet Friday in Fort Worth, Texas.

Washington’s Allison Northey will end her collegiate gymnastics career Friday by making her first appearance at the NCAA championships in Fort Worth, Texas. Northey will compete as an all-arounder in Friday’s first session, beginning at 11 a.m. PT.
Northey, a three-time All-Pac-12 honoree in the all-around, qualified for the NCAA championships by finishing amongthe top-two all-around gymnasts whose teams didn’t qualify at the NCAA regional meet in Salt Lake City on April 2. She took fourth overall.

• WSU’s Liz Harper took seventh at the California Invitational Heptathlon at Azusa Pacific. Harper scored 5,472 points.
• At the Whitworth Twilight meet in Spokane, Brock Eager, competing unattached, threw a PR of 203-0 to win the hammer, followed by Wyatt Meyring (185-10).
