Chat Rewind: SU guard Isiah Umipig

Isiah Umipig is having a standout senior season for the Seattle University Redhawks as he leads the team in scoring (16.8 ppg) and assists (3.1 apg).

As a junior he set a SU single-season record for most three pointers made (106) and attempted (287).

Prior to joining the Redhawks, he played two seasons for Cal-State Fullterton and was named the Big West Conference Sixth Man of the Year after the 2010-11 season.

A Federal Way High grad, he helped lead the Eagles to the 4A state title in 2009.

Umipig answered questions about his senior campaign, the Redhawks' postseason chances and more in a live chat Thursday on seattletimes.com.
