If many individual workers' wages haven't kept up with inflation, their household incomes appear to have done much better. This chart shows the gain - adjusted for inflation - broken down by income group. The 75th percentile represents an income higher than 75 percent of the households in the Puget Sound area; the 10th percentile represents an income higher than 10 percent of households.
