Glamour Beasts: The dark side of elephant captivity

Oregon Zoo in Portland has seven Asian elephants. The facility was the birthplace in April 1962 of Packy, the first elephant born at a North American zoo. Packy, now 50, still lives at the Oregon Zoo.
