The Elwha: Travel a river being reborn

This control room of the Elwha Dam already has been dismantled, its beautiful old glass and brass gauges distributed to museums and other entities. Park Ranger Denison Rauw, in the yellow hat, and Kevin Yancy of the Bureau of Reclamation, seated, were showing off the powerhouse in a tour for visitors during the summer before dam removal began.
