The Elwha: Travel a river being reborn

Glines Canyon, standing 210 feet high, is the taller of the two dams on the Elwha. Elwha Dam is half that height. Between the size of the two dams and the massive load of sediment to be managed, the Elwha project is the largest dam-removal program ever undertaken.
