Out of options, family lives in truck

Cody Barnes runs his hands through his hair while his mother makes calls inside her old Ford Ranger at Southcenter mall in Tukwila. Barnes and his mother, Cherie Moore, have doubled up with friends and family for the past couple years. Due to their instability, Barnes said he feels like he lost out on his childhood.
